THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Business and Professional Women’s Clubs of Ontario urge the Government of Ontario to amend Bill 7, An Act to Revise and Extend Protection of Human Rights in Ontario (due to be proclaimed on June 15, 1982) to prohibit termination of employment due to age by removing the upper age limit of 65 years in Section 9(a) of Bill 7, the new Ontario Human Rights Code.
