THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Business and Professional Women’s Clubs of Ontario urge the Government of Ontario to amend the Ontario Human Rights Code, 1974, Section 6(a) to require Affirmative Action Programs to be undertaken by major public and private organizations including compliance with the Equal Pay provisions of the Employment Standards Act, 1974.
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED THAT guidelines be established for the implementation of such programs and for regular reports on the programs and results.
