THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Business and Professional Women’s Clubs of Ontario urge the Government of Ontario to:
a) Instruct the Ministry of Community and Social Service and Consolidated Social Services Management committees to allocate in their annual budgets sufficient money to flow to non-profit and private child care programs presently receiving little or none of the Wage Subsidy Grants;
b) Ensure that the Wage Subsidy Grants is increased and maintained at the current level available to some non-profit child care programs;
c) Instruct the Ministry of Community and Social Service and Consolidated Social Services Management to make pay equity adjustments retroactive from 1994-1997 inclusive;
d) Ensure that all future Wage Subsidy Grants and pay equity adjustments are distributed equally among all licensed child
