POLICY:
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Business and Professional Women’s Clubs of Ontario request the Government of Ontario to join with the Federal Government and the governments of the other nine provinces, and support the inclusion of the “drop-out” amendment to the Canada Pension Plan whereby the contributor who leaves the labour force for whatever reason is permitted, when calculating lifetime earnings for pension purposes, to drop from the calculations those months of low or zero earnings.
