BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Oshawa Business and Professional Women’s Club request the Provincial Organization to petition the Government of Ontario for a change in the Succession Duty Act so that death duties levied on the dutiable portion of pensions payable to survivors be calculated on an actuarial basis at the same time as on other assets but that their payment be on the basis of deductions at the source throughout the period during which the pension is paid.
