THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that BPW Ontario urges the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care to enhance its support of home care services through the Community Care Access Centres (CCAC) as promised;
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that BPW Ontario urges the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care to allocate funds for clients receiving home care to ensure that adequate respite is provided to the client’s caregiver(s) to enable the caregiver(s) to remain healthy;
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that BPW Ontario urges the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care to move towards funding health care programs that focus on preventive treatments to avoid costly long term care expenses.
