THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Business and Professional Women’s Clubs of Ontario urge the Government of Ontario:
a) to provide resources for the development of sensitive educational, counselling and treatment programs for children and other family members involved in an incestuous relationship (including the offender, the victim and other appropriate family members);
b) to develop alternatives to criminal sanctions to deal with the problems of incest involving children.
