THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Business and Professional Women’s Clubs of Ontario urge the Provincial Council of Women to request the Government of Ontario:
i)to take immediate action to ensure that any necessary medical travel to the nearest qualified facility if it is over 200 miles distance, should be directly covered by OHIP.
ii)to take immediate action to ensure that standard accommodation costs directly related to medical, surgical or out-patient services should be claimable expenses covered by OHIP.
