THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Business and Professional Women’s Clubs of Ontario urges the Government of Ontario to make full implementation of pay equity a high priority.
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED THAT the of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs of Ontario urges the Government of Ontario:
iTo review the impact of the Pay Equity process and the Equal Pay provisions in the Employment Standards Act in achieving the objective of Equal Pay for Work of Equal Value between female and male employees; and
iiBased on this review to introduce comprehensive legislation to ensure this objective on an ongoing basis.
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED THAT with the passing of the above resolution, the Business and Professional Women’s Clubs of Ontario reaffirms part three of Resolution 1992 and take the appropriate action as indicated:
