THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Business and Professional Women’s Clubs of Ontario urge the Government of Ontario to amend the Employment Standards Act 1974 Part X, Sec. 35 and 36 to prohibit termination of employment or lay-off due to pregnancy.
