THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Business and Professional Women’s Clubs of Ontario:
1) Supports the recommendations of the Task Force on Sexual Abuse of Patients; and
2) Commends the Minister of Health and the Women’s Issue Minister on their proposal of amendments to the Regulated Health Professional Act (RHPA) aimed at establishing in law the
said policy of Zero Tolerance.
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the Business and Professional Women’s Clubs of Ontario urges the Government of Ontario through these Ministries to expedite promptly the said legislation into law, and urges the Government of Ontario to enforce this law.
