THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Business and Professional Women’s Clubs of Ontario urge the Minister of Health and the Ontario Health Insurance Plan to declare that gynecologists/obstetricians can be accepted as primary care physicians for the all-important “well woman” health examination and that the “well woman” health examination will be paid at the full rate to either family physicians or gynecologist/obstetricians without the need for a referral by a family physician.
